REJECT THE SUSPECT'S PETITION TO CANCEL THE MEASURE OF RESTRAINT IN THE FORM OF AN CENZURE OF DOCUMENTS, COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC STORAGE MEDIA AND OTHER PROPERTY.

On 12 April 2006, after reviewing the materials of case No. 78-2-006-05, the prosecutor of the Plunge District Prosecutor's Office, Algerdas Mika, at the request of the suspect, Konstantin Korenevskiy, determined:
The Rietavas Police Department is conducting a pre-trial investigation into case No. 78-2-006-05 on the seizure of property by fraud based on the elements of a crime provided for in Article 182, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania.
On March 16, 2006, by order of the prosecutor, the accused Konstantin Korenevskiy was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the city and the confiscation of documents (personal passport).
On April 12, 2006, the Plunge District Prosecutor's Office received a petition from suspect Konstantin Korenevsky to confiscate other personal documents from him, such as his driver's license and other documents related to the design of ordered and partially paid low-rise residential buildings, as well as personal and work document of Germany and the United States, and also computing technology and electronic information carriers which he need in connection with the performance of his official duties.
The petition was rejected as unfounded. The data collected in the criminal case show that the suspicious Konstantin Korenevskiy /aka Christian von Konstantin/ may flee from Lithuania via Germany to the USA. Therefore, the chosen preventive measure should not be cancelled in order to ensure the goals of criminal proceedings and preventive measures, as well as to facilitate the preliminary investigation and consideration of the case in court.
In connection with the above circumstances, the complaint is rejected.
In accordance with Article 178 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the decision:
1. The petition of suspect Konstantin Korenevskiy is rejected as unfounded;
2. The applicant is notified of the decision taken, with an explanation of the right to appeal the decision to the pre-trial investigation judge of the Plunge District Court within 7 days from the date of its receipt;
3. That the adopted resolution be attached to the materials of case No. 78-2-006-05.
