About Regarding The Return of Social Support Funds

Dear Grazina Korenevskiene,
 In the Ministry of Social Security and Labor /hereinafter referred to as - the Ministry/, we have re-examined our findings regarding the allocation of social benefits for the past period /from 01.07.2010 to 01.08.2011/ and we provide the expert of opinion of the Ministry according to our competence.
 We explain that monetary social support is provided to needy residents by the municipality administration of the declared place of residence. The specialists of the Health, Social Support and Children protection department of the Rietava municipality administration have informed us that you have been granted social assistance for the past period from 07/01/2010 to 08/01/201, after evaluating the documents from you  and as well as according  the law on cash social of support of needy families and individuals living alone / the version of the law until 2012 -01-01/.
 It should be noted that, according to the Law on Local Self-Government of the Republic of Lithuania, municipalities are not subject to state institutions. Decrees about for Law do not give the Ministry the right to control, evaluate or otherwise influence the competence of municipal employees and the appropriateness of the performance of their duties by the decision taken by the municipal administration. Thus, a person who does not agree with the decision made regarding his request, first   to need appeal to the director of the municipal administration.
 We also note that complaints from residents about abuse or bureaucracy by municipal officials are investigated by Seimas inspectors, and acts or demeanors taken by state employees of municipalities where violate the rights of residents can be appealed in an administrative case in accordance with the procedure established. Look to the Law on Justice.
 This answer can be appealed in Court of the Republic of Lithuania as the administrative case by submitting a complaint to the Main Administrative Disputes Commission or to the Administrative Court of the Vilnius District in accordance with the procedure established by the Law about Justice.
